Dr. Salazar has lived in the South Florida area since 2002. She graduated Cum Laude from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Psychology. She received her dental degree from University of Florida College of Dental Medicine, where she earned several prestigious awards for excellence in dentistry.
She is well regarded by her patients for her gentle, patient, and caring personality. She takes the time to provide you with the highest quality of dental care. She strives to make each visit as enjoyable as possible and makes your comfort her top priority. She believes in conservative, preventative dentistry, and her goal is to increase the longevity of her patient’s teeth.
She is active within numerous professional organizations such as the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Florida Dental Association, among others. She is also dedicated to continually expanding her knowledge in all of the latest developments in her field.
Following her belief in giving back to the community, she has provided dental care at the Special Olympics and has participated in multiple dental mission trips throughout Central and South America. She also has extensive involvement in the local community, currently participating in the Mission of Mercy and the ADA Give Kids A Smile events which provide pro bono oral health care to low income families in Florida.
When she isn’t looking at teeth, she loves spending time with her family, painting, and performing outdoor activities.
Dr. Michael Gorman, DMD, FADIA, FICOI
Dr. Michael Gorman, DMD, FADIA, FICOI earned his dental degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry after attending the University of Florida, where he received his Bachelor’s of Health Science degree in rehabilitation counseling. Dr. Gorman obtained his certification in IV Conscious Sedation from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and received extensive training in a dental bone grafting and surgical implant placement and restoration course in Miami, Florida, from one of the foremost dental implant experts in the nation.
A native of Tallahassee, Florida, Dr. Gorman enlisted in the U.S. Navy immediately after graduating high school and is a Desert Storm veteran who served for four years. His cumulative dental knowledge, including general, cosmetic, and implant dentistry, as well as IV and oral sedation, provides Dr. Gorman the ability to complete a full-mouth restoration in a single visit by sedating patients comfortably, providing them the opportunity to walk into the office with no fear or anxiety, and leave with a new smile without having any recollection of the procedure.
Corey – Dental Hygienist
Born and raised in Florida, Corey has been both a dental assistant and hygienist in the past 10 years. Having positive and supportive interactions with her patients is her passion.
Corey is an artist. She enjoys to paint, draw, scrapbook, write poetry, and create jewelry. As an avid exerciser, she loves aerobics, biking, yoga, and swimming. She also has a one-and-a-half year old son and enjoys going to the beach.
Mauricio – Hygienist
Mauricio has been in the dental field for the better part of 20 years, making him well-versed and highly skilled in his profession. He graduated from dental school in Columbia in 1998, and after practicing for 6 years, he moved to America and became a surgical assistant. He went on to study hygiene, and in 2006 he passed the Florida hygiene boards and has since been using his skill and knowledge to educate his patients on proper oral hygiene. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and listening to rock ‘n’ roll music.
NATALIE – DENTAL ASSISTANT
Originally from Palm Beach, Natalie has been in the dental field for 12 years. She enjoys working with the doctor to make sure her patients are comfortable and relaxed while they undergo their dental procedures. Natalie spends almost all of her free time with her two teenage daughters and together they enjoy all outdoor activities.
Que – Office Manager
Born in Florida and raised in Georgia, Que has been a dental assistant for more than 15 years. She enjoys assisting the doctors, greeting the patients and tending to their dental needs.
In her free time, Que spends time with her daughter, who is currently in college; her son, who plays football; and her stepdaughter who is a ballet dancer. A movie buff, Que also enjoys watching The Golden Girls.
